|The CVO is required to view your original degree. Having completed the National Board Exams or being registered for the NBE does not satisfy this requirement.

The Basic and Clinical Sciences Examination(BCSE) is a computer based, four-hour test
2nd & 3rd Veterinary Medicine:
The North American Veterinary Licensing
Examination (NAVLE*) is a computer-based exam that requires one full day to complete.
Preliminary Surgical Assessment for CPE (PSA)
The PSA is prerequisite for CPE registration adn will become a mandatory step of the NEB process for all candidates taking the CPE starting January 1, 2017.
The Clinical Proficiency Examination (CPE) is a practical exam that requires four days to complete and involves the examination and treatment of live animals and the performance of routine laboratory procedures.
Graduates of AVMA-accredited veterinary schools must pass the NAVLE only
Graduates of a non-accredited veterinary school must complete 3 examinations.
