After a two-year period of research, deliberation and focused consultation, the proposed model seeks to modernize the Veterinarians Act, strengthen the protection of animal health care, and recognize the profession as a system of providers.

This consultation phase is focused only on scope of practice and will be open from April 10, 2017 to May 12, 2017.
