Practice Advisory Service

The Practice Advisory Service addresses questions related to the regulations, policy, and professional expectations associated with the practice of veterinary medicine from members of the public, veterinarians, and others. The service is free and confidential.

The practice advisory service receives questions about professional practice standards and expectations for veterinarians in Ontario. Some of the common questions received by the service include inquiries about prescribing and dispensing drugs, the veterinarian-client-patient relationship, medical record requirements and information, and advertising.

If the information you are seeking is related to a specific department, please see the staff directory to have your questions answered.
