About Learning Modules
The College offers several self-study modules to assist veterinarians and their teams in understanding the requirements and expectations in various areas of practice.
Current learning modules focus on medical record keeping, establishing a veterinarian-client-patient relationship, informed client consent and communication skills. The College also offers several videos on topics including ethical decision-making, prescribing, conducting a controlled drug audit and maintaining a controlled drug log. Videos can be found in publications.

Foundations for Medical Record Keeping
A series of self-study modules is available to assist veterinarians and clinic staff in understanding the requirements and expectations for medical record keeping. One series includes modules relevant to those who work in companion animal practice and the other includes modules focused on material relevant to those who work with food producing animals, equine and poultry.
